Melissa Hart is a long-time volunteer at Eugene's Cascades Raptor Center--a non-profit nature facility and wildlife hospital specializing in birds of prey.  Visitors are welcome from 10 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday through Sunday.

Did you know that such centers exist all over the country?  Here are just a few that you can visit:

You can find others by typing the name of your state and the words "raptor center" into your favorite search engine.

Melissa cares for and helps to glove-train education birds--CRC's permanent residents--so that you can meet them nose-to-beak!
